domain
Yasashii-Ame.net was purchased from Surpass Hosting on May 18th, 2008 and officially opened about a week later. It is my 6th domain since April 2004 and the 1st to last longer than a year. Yes, that is somehow important xP

the name
- Yasashii - adj. tender; kind; gentle; graceful; affectionate
- Ame - n. rain

I had a hard time coming up with a domain name. I had a lot of things in mind but none of them clicked. Then one day I was listening to "LIPS" by KAT-TUN and Junno's solo line, 'gomen, yasashii ame ga...' jumped out at me. I jokingly thought of going with it if only just to say later that I named my domain after a line in a KAT-TUN song. Then somehow, it became reality xDD Although my interest in KAT-TUN isn't what it was at that time, Junno is still one hell of an adorable person and I'm proud to have named my domain after a simple little lyric that he sung. Because I'm dorky like that, yes.

Comments: I've had this idea in my head for a while but all of my attempts at making it a reality failed, rather miserably at that. Then one day when I was messing around with filters and tutorials, this happened, so I decided to work it into a layout and voila~ there you have it! The idea itself is... rather random, really. My choice of lyrics came from me simply wanting a reddish-pink layout, as that song happens to remind me of this color xP But then when I read the lyrics, there were a few lines that just screamed Xion at me because of her whole story and fading away and essentially never existing and everything, so it just had to be made. As for the random starbeam thing, I have no creative reasoning as to why I threw that in there. I just liked the way it came out and felt like using it. While I do have a few slight qualms about this layout, I'm quite content with it overall!
